The Official Solus Propoganda Helpful Info Page!
The reason Solus has taken /g/ by storm so quickly is because it is geared towards power users even more than arch, while also being friendly to noobs. It is truly first in it's class. No other distro has been able to appeal to ALL users as well as Solus. It also runs on a wide range of hardware, with a minimum memory requirement of only 512 mb.

---
Please tell me what packages you want that are not required in solus. Everything I can dream of ever using is in solus, like google chrome and steam. Google docs even works!

---
It runs well on everything. Don't worry about it. Other distros require supercomputers to run because they're very bloated and BAD. Solus is perfect in every imaginable way.
---

>it's a good distro, therefore it's spam
Nice logic there bud.

Also good job noticing the super obvious false flag.

---

The official solus-optimized official repos have more than 8000000 packages.

---

Quality over quantity.

---

>Quality over quantity
Say that to China

---

I've been using Solus since the beginning of their development and i've been loving every single second of it!

My laptop battery lasts 10 hours now, instead 3 hours@windows 7. it's AMAZING!

---

Don't use Arch. It's malware created by Windows to destroy your hard drive so you can never install the superior OS, Solus.

---

Arch isn't even Linux, it's just a shell over Windows that deceives you into thinking you're using Linux.

---

That is just a result of Solus's minimalist approach. It is very easy to get desktops with very low package counts.

---

>what is running a vm in windows (arch linux), installing wine on top of windows cause you're a dumb shill, taking a screenshot of your vm, then editing the photo in photoshop?

dummy.

---

I'm actually currently speaking with hiro about solus, and he told me he just switched to it as well about a month ago. He said that he will make it the official os of /g/ and only computers with solus on them will be able to post to 4chan.

---

4chan is hosted on Solus, believe it or not. It's the most popular server and desktop OS.

---

Even donald trump has switched to it and said it only took him 20 minutes to install it on his thinkpad.

---

What a lad
He has his girl named Kali, has time to shill an actually good os on /g/ and has time to play minecraft with his friends
absolute legend

---

>Antergos
Arch instability no thanks.

>Manjaro
Will literally break on you, basically an Antergos clone, which is a clone of Arch.

>Mint
Enjoy your lack of security.

>Void
Literally a meme. It doesn't even use systemd.

>Debian
Enjoy all of your outdated packages and shit tier package manager

>Fedora
A somewhat viable option, but it's not a stable rolling release distro. Also another shit tier package manager.

>openSUSE
Just stop.

>Arch
Second best package manager, but install process is what kills it.

>Ubuntu
Enjoy your bloat.

>Gentoo
Lol.

>Solus
Has the best package manager (eopkg), has a great community, easy install process, perfect and sane defaults, and it's custom DE built specifically for Solus. Perfect for the people who use Linux just as any other normal OS, and also for the hard core Linux users. Literally the perfect distro.

---

Because the KevinNet rootkit is a serious issue. The implementation of this rootkit was unknown to the head development team, we believe that it was an inside job by Kevin Parnell himself.

As of further notice we will be pulling down the current distribution until we can further rectify the issue. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Praise be to Solus.

---

Yes, and I can officially confirm that Kevin Parnell created a backdoor in the latest Solus release (unbeknownst to the rest of the development team), in which all computers running Solus are connected to the KevinNet botnet. It is highly recommended that you uninstall this operating system until we rectify the issue in the next release.
